Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Bold Tern has arrived in Hull to start turbine installation at the 1218MW Hornsea 1 offshore wind farm off the coast of east England.
The company has a contract to transport and install approximately half of the 174 Siemens Gamesa 7MW machines at the project site.

A2Sea is tasked with installing the remaining turbines.
Orsted and Global Infrastructure Partners are 50% owners of the project, which is due online next year.
