Trianel has acquired the 8.25MW Grunberg wind farm near Giessen in Hesse, Germany, from iTerra Energy.
Grunberg features three GE 2.75-120 turbines with 199-metre tip heights.
The machines were fully commissioned by developer iTerra Energy in early January and are expected to export some 20 gigawatt-hours a year.
Trianel now operates a 121MW onshore wind portfolio.
