Siemens Wind Power is to deliver turbines totalling 28.8MW to EDF Luminus for two wind farms in Belgium.
A total of nine SWT 3.2 113 machines will be supplied for the 19.2MW Katoen Natie – Loghidden City project at the port of Antwerp and the 9.6MW Sibelco development in Dessel and Mol.
The Katoen Natie turbines will have hub heights of 127.5 metres, while the hub heights at Sibelco will be 99.5 metres. Rotor diameters for both projects will be 113 metres.
Installation is scheduled to start in October, Siemens said.
