Siemens has secured contracts to supply turbines totalling 40.8MW to two wind farms in Germany.
The company will deliver and install six SWT-3.3-130 machines to repower the Borringhauser Moor project for WPD Windpark Damme in Lower Saxony.
Installation of the turbines, which will have hub heights of 135 metres, will take place in the autumn.
The deal also includes a service contract for 15 years, Siemens said.
The company will also supply seven SWT-3.0-113 turbines to the Burgerwindpark Brebek project in Karlum in Schleswig-Holstein.
The hardware will be installed in the spring and have hub heights of 115 metres, with commissioning scheduled for the summer.
Siemens will also service and maintain the turbines for 20 years.
