UK medium wind developer Earthmill has set up a new division dedicated to servicing and maintaining turbines. The company said it has invested in new staff and technology in response to the “high demand” from turbine owners whose initial service warranties have expired. Earthmill said it has won more than 20 new service and maintenance contracts in the last few months and expects to have gained a further 50 by the end of the year.
