Ramboll has appointed Tommy Flindt (pictured) as Global Director for Offshore Substations within its Wind Division, effective 1 August 2025.
Flindt joins from Copenhagen Offshore Partners, where he was a senior director, and brings over 13 years of experience spanning engineering, project management, business development and leadership in offshore wind.
He has previously held roles at Ørsted, Maersk and Semco Maritime, and will now lead Ramboll’s global offshore substation activities supported by a team of around 200 specialists.
“Tommy Flindt brings the whole package,” said Tim Fischer, global executive director for Ramboll’s Wind Division.
“I had the pleasure to work with Tommy on the client side, and I am now lucky to welcome him as a colleague to my leadership team.”
Ramboll’s offshore substation team offers services in optimisation, design and environmental assessments as part of the company’s 900-strong global wind energy division.
