UK engineering company Viper Subsea is planning to diversify and grow its business in new markets including offshore wind.
The company currently provides consultancy and develops products for the oil and gas sector worldwide.
It has formally changed the name of Viper Subsea Technology to Viper Innovations in preparation for the diversification.
Viper managing director Neil Douglas said: “Viper Subsea has enjoyed phenomenal success in the subsea oil and gas industry.
“However, our core electrical cable integrity technology is perfectly suited to applications in other industries.”
