Nordex has secured a turbine order totalling 83MW in Argentina from AES Generacion for the Vientos Neuquinos wind farm.
The order comprises 24 AW132/3465 machines that will be installed in the province of Neuquen in the south-west of the country.

Nordex will also service the turbines once operational for at least two years.
The contract is the second with AES Generacion, a subsidiary of AES Corp, with 30 AW132/3300 units ordered for the Energetica wind farm in September.
All the turbines and 120-metre concrete towers will be produced locally in Argentina, Nordex said.
