Nordex Group is to supply turbines to the 99MW Energetica wind farm in Argentina under development by a subsidiary of AES Corp.
The order, which was placed by AES Argentina Generacion, is for 30 AW132/3300 machines.
Energetica is located in the province of Buenos Aires near Bahia Blanca.
Nordex said it will manufacture the 120-metre high concrete towers and assemble the turbines locally.
The deal also includes a multi-year service contract for the wind farm, Nordex said.
