Fourteen categories were recognised during the event, with a surprise outstanding achievement award added to the list.

The judging panel was made up of senior figures from RenewableUK’s membership, Board and Shadow Board, as well as supporting trade associations.

RenewableUK’s commercial director Liz Conboy said the awards highlighted the determination and collaboration that continue to define the offshore wind sector.

“It’s been amazing to host the Global Offshore Wind Awards here in London for the fourth year in a row, celebrating how far we have come in terms of building an industry from scratch, and the companies, people and collaborations which make it all possible,” she said.

“Amidst challenging economic headwinds for our sector, we are excited to recognise the determination and vision that drives our industry forward. I’d like to congratulate all this year’s winners, runners-up and nominees, we hope everyone continues this momentum to deliver our ambitious offshore wind targets here in the UK and around the world.”

Energy Minister Michael Shanks congratulated the winners, praising the breadth of innovation and talent within the industry.

“Congratulations to all the worthy winners,” he said. “It’s brilliant to see the range of nominees, from innovators, to supply chain operators, to people showing extraordinary promise at the start of their careers.

“Government is backing the offshore wind industry to drive our clean power mission, which is revitalising our communities, catalysing economic growth, and bringing investment and the jobs of the future to the UK.”
