Nordex has secured a 21MW order from BMR energy solutions to supply and install wind turbines in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The company will deliver three of its N163/6.X machines for the Heinsberg-Boverath wind farm.
The order includes a 20-year service contract.
The North Rhine-Westphalia order builds on what has already been a busy year for BMR and Nordex.
The Geilenkirchen-based developer has ordered 88.8MW of turbines from Nordex already this year, for projects in Geilenkirchen and in the Rhenish minish District.
Nordex said: “The turbines in the Rhenish mining district will symbolize the successful structural transformation in the region, which is undergoing an ecological transition due to the planned phase-out of coal-fired power generation in the coming years.”
The turbine installations are scheduled to go into operation in 2026 and 2027.
