Nordex has won a turbine order in the US totalling 269MW for an unnamed client and wind farm.
The deal covers 56 N149/4.8MW machines from the Delta4000 series for a project in the north of the country, as well as a two-year service contract.

The turbines will be supplied in the ‘cold climate’ version, offering an extended operating range that enables the hardware to operate down to an outside temperature of -30 degrees Celsius.
Nordex Group chief sales officer Patxi Landa said: “After recording significant new business with our N149/4.0-4.5 in the US in the course of this year, this new order underlines the continuing strong demand from customers for our turbines of the Delta4000 generation.”
